It also provides food to both human beings and many other organisms. Oceans may also impact the weather and temperature due to their huge size. It also provides carbon storage, oxygen, and many other important resources for human life on this planet. Oceans may also absorb around 30 percent of carbon dioxide which is produced by human activities and helps in lowering global warming across the world. They are also important to maintain climate, provide oxygen, water, and food, and also support various ranges of marine life. Oceans are also necessary for human life, and supporting several industries such as shipping, fishing, tourism, and many more. Thus, oceans are very important for the existence of human beings, and many other organisms on the Earth.
But now due to industrialization, the pollution and chemical dust increases in the ocean which may threaten the existence of sea animals and human beings. At present, oceans are also under threat by several human activities such as hunting sea animals, ocean noise pollution, chemical dust increase in oceans, and many more. Thus, the main aim of this international day is to conserve or protect oceans by lowering the pollution and is good for sea animals and human beings.
