World Milk Day 2024

World Milk Day is celebrated every year on June 1 across the world to spread awareness about the importance of milk and dairy products for our health. The main aim of this international day is to celebrate the important contributions of the dairy industry and the several health benefits of drinking milk among common people worldwide.  This International Day was introduced by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in the year 2001. Milk has several important nutrients that are beneficial for individuals, especially kids and children.  It is beneficial for improving immunity, strong teeth bone health, and many more benefits.

Milk contains several nutrients such as phosphorous, protein, riboflavin, vitamin A, carbohydrates, vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, and many more nutrients thus it is a very important food in daily life especially for babies and kids.  It is a white liquid that is received from many mammals including sheep, buffalo, camel, cow, and goat.

Several individuals drink cold milk that helps in preventing stomach irritation.
