In the eliminator match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB( and Rajasthan Royals (RR), RR won the match by 4 wickets with RCB due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, RR will play match with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Qualifier 2 match. RCB was eliminated from the IPL 2024 after losing this match.

Earlier, RR won the toss and chose to bowl first thus RCB first batted and made a low score of 172/8 in 20 overs due to great bowling by Avesh Khan 3/44 (4), Ravichandran Ashwin 2/19 (4), and Trent Boult 1/16 (4). Rajat Patidar 34 (22), Virat Kohli 33 (24), and Mahipal Lomror 32 (17) were good batting from the RCB side. After this inning, RCB set a low target of 173 runs in 20 overs for RR to win this match.

During chasing, RR lost 6 wickets, reached the target of 173 runs in 19 overs, and won the match by 4 wickets with RCB due to great batting by Yashasvi Jaiswal 45 (30), Riyan Parag 36 (26), and Shimron Hetmyer 26 (14). Mohammed Siraj 2/33 (4), Karn Sharma 1/19 (2), and Cameron Green 1/28 (4) were good bowling from the RCB side.

Ravichandran Ashwin (RR), 2/19 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match due to great performance in bowling.
