Ramadan – It is the most pious month in the history of Islam. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is celebrated as a month of fasting by Muslims all over the world.
There are three ashra (parts) of Ramadan are Mercy, forgiveness, and Nijat (free from hellfire) and Ashra is an Arabic word which means 10 days. The Islamic months are based on the appearance of the moon thus, most of the Islamic month starts with the appearance of a moon and ends with its disappearance. Ramzan may be 29 or 30 days and nights in every Islamic month. It is also based on 29 or 30 days with full days and nights that means 3*10 days that makes 3 Ashra of each 10 days in the holy month of Ramadan

Mercy (Rehmat) is the first and an important Ashra of Ramadan that occurs between the 1st and 10th of Ramadan. In the first Ashra, Muslims must seek the mercy (Rehmat) of Almighty Allah in the holy month of Ramzan. The first Ashra reflects the Mercy of Allah so it is known as Rahmat and is an important Ashra in the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims give charity to poor people and seek or receive the Mercy (Rehmat) of Almighty Allah during the first Ashra of Ramadan. The first ten days of Ramadan are very important for Muslims to start fasting and worship. You should avoid abusive words, talking back, and many other bad habits during fasting.
Muslims must give charity (Zakat) to poor people so that they will be able to celebrate Ramadan and Eid. You should help poor people including first preference to your poor family members and then others individuals, treating good people, and many more for the sake of Almighty Allah with the pure purpose or intention of seeking his mercy (Rehmat).
