Introduction – It’s very shocking, heartbreaking, tragic, and unbelievable news that Bharat Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) MLA, G. Lasya Nanditha died at the age of 37 due to a tragic road accident on Friday morning at about 6:30 am in the Sangareddy district of Telangana on February 23, 2024. This tragic car accident took place on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the Sangareddy district of Telangana on the border of Hyderabad.

According to Telangana police, the driver lost control the car and collide or hit with the metal barrier on the left side of the expressway. She died on the spot after the car accident and her driver suffered serious injuries and was shifted to the private hospital in Patancheru.  The condition of the driver with serious injuries is critical according to Telangana police. Previously, Lasya Nanditha had a car accident in Narkatpally near Nalgonda with minor injuries on February 13, 2024. After the Nalgonda accident, Lasya Nanditha bought a new car.

1. She was born in 1986 in Hyderabad and is the daughter of former BRS legislator late G. Sayanna.
2. She made her debut in politics about a decade ago.
3. She was a former corporator in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation from the Kavadiguda division in the year 2016.
4. After losing the municipal elections, she resigned from the post of municipal corporator in December 2020.
5. She got the ticket to contest the Telangana assembly elections in November 2023 for the Secunderabad Cantonment seat after the death of her father G.Sayanna.
6. She won the election from the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency and defeated Ganesh N of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) by 17,169 votes in the Telangana assembly elections in 2023.
