Introduction – Famous poet, Munawwar Rana, one of the popular Indian poets, died due to cardiac arrest on January 14, 2024, at the age of 71. Earlier, He was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, Munawwar Rana has also suffered from lung and throat infections since 2017. He was also undergoing kidney treatment regularly and he had to undergo dialysis. Previously, he was first admitted to Medanta Hospital and later SGPGI in Lucknow. Munawwar Rana was well-known for his different writing and made great contributions to poetry and Urdu literature.
