It’s a very proud moment for our country that the Indian women’s team won the silver medal in the chess event at the Asian Games 2023. The Indian women’s team consisting of Savitha Shri, R. Vaishali, Harika Dronavalli, Vantika Agarwal, and Koneru Humpy won the silver medal in the women’s team chess event at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.

The Indian women’s team consisting of Savitha Shri, R. Vaishali, Harika Dronavalli, Vantika Agarwal, and Koneru Humpy defeated South Korea by 4-0 and won the silver medal in the women’s chess event at the Asian Games 2023. China won the gold medal and Kazakhstan clinched the bronze medal in the women’s team chess in the Asian Games 2023.
