It’s a very proud moment for our country that the Indian women’s team won the bronze medal in the archery event in the ongoing Asian Games 2023. The Indian women’s team comprising Simranjeet Kaur, Ankita Bhakat, and Bhajan Kaur won the bronze medal in the archery event at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.

The Indian women’s team comprising Simranjeet Kaur, Ankita Bhakat, and Bhajan Kaur defeated the Vietnamese women’s recurve team of Phuong Thao Hoang, Do Thi Anh Nguyet, and Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi by (6-2) and won the bronze medal in the archery event in the ongoing Asian Games 2023. Earlier, the Indian women’s recurve team lost the semi-final match with Republic of Korea (6-2) in the archery event.

Previously, India won the match with Japan by 6-2 in the quarter-final and entered into the semi-final. India also defeated Thailand 5-1 in the pre-quarterfinal in the archery event at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
