It’s a very proud moment for our country that India won the gold medal in the Asian Games 2023. The Indian hockey men’s team won the historic gold medal in the men’s hockey at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
Indian hockey team defeated Japan by (5-1) in the final match and won the gold medal in the men’s hockey at the Asian Games 2023. It was the 4th gold medal of the Indian hockey men’s team in the Asian Games after 1966 and 1998 Bangkok and Incheon 2014 Asian Games Earlier, the Indian men’s hockey team won the gold medal in the Asian Games 2014 Incheon.
In the final match, 5 goals by Manpreet Singh (25′), Harmanpreet Singh (32′, 59′), Amit Rohidas (36;), and Abhishek (48′) helped India to win the gold medal match against Japan (5-1) in the Asian Games 2023. After winning the gold medal, India qualified for Paris Olympics 2024.
