It’s a very proud moment for our country that the Indian men’s team won the gold medal in the archery event at the Asian Games 2023. The Indian team comprising Prathamesh Samadhan Jawkar, Ojas Pravin Deotale, and Abhishek Verma won the gold medal in the men’s compound archery in the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
The Indian team comprising Prathamesh Samadhan Jawkar, Ojas Pravin Deotale , and Abhishek Verma defeated the Korean team including Jongo Kim, Jaehoon Joo, and Jaewon Yang by 235-230 and won the gold medal in the men’s compound archery in the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China. It’s the 21st gold medal for India in the Asian Games 2023. Earlier, Ojas Pravin Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam defeated Korean pair Joo Jaehoon and Chaewon (159-158) and won the historic gold medal in the mixed team compound archery in the Asian Games 2023
