There is another Indian javelin thrower, Kishore Jena clinched the silver medal with the best throw of 87.54m in the men’s javelin throw in the ongoing Asian Games 2023.

Earlier, Neeraj Chopra won the historic gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He also won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta. Neeraj Chopra also won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the World Championships 2023 in Budapest. He also won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Diamond League 2022.
