It’s a very proud moment for our country that the Indian athlete, Tajinderpal Singh Toor won the gold medal in athletics at the Asian Games 2023. He won the gold medal in the men’s shot put in the ongoing Asian Games.

Tajinderpal Singh Toor won the gold medal with a best throw of 20.36 m in the men’s shot put at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Earlier, he won the gold medal in the men’s shot put in the Asian Games 2018, Jakarta, Indonesia.

 After winning this gold medal, Tajinderpal Singh Toor became the fourth Indian Shot putter to defend his previous gold medal in the Asian Games 2018, Jakarta after Bahadur Singh Chauhan (1978 and 1982), Joginder Singh (1966 and 1970), and Parduman Singh Brar (1954 and 1958).
