It’s a very proud moment for our country that both Indian athletes won two medals in the men’s 10,000m in the Asian Games 2023. Kartik Kumar won the silver medal and Gulveer Singh settled for the bronze medal in men’s 10,000m at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.

Kartik Kumar won the silver medal with personal best timings of 28:15:38 seconds and Gulveer Singh claims the bronze medal with individual best timings of 28:17:21 seconds in the men’s 10,000m in the ongoing Asian Games 2023. It was the first medal for Kartik Kumar in any major event. Birhanu Yemataw Balew of Bahrain won the gold medal with the best timings of 28:13;62 seconds.

 Earlier, Kiran Baliyan won the bronze medal in the women’s shot put in the Asian Games 2023. India won three medals in athletics in the Asian Games 2023.
