It’s a very proud moment for India that Indian shooter Sift Kaur Samra won the gold medal in the Asian Games 2023.  She created history and won the gold medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3-position event in the Asian Games 2023 with an amazing world and game record score of 469.6 and broke the world record of 467 points.

She gains a total score of 469.6 after 15 shots in the prone, standing, and kneeling positions. The score of Sift Kaur was 2.6 more than the earlier world record that was held by Seonaid Mclntosh in Baki in the previous year. Ashi Chouksey won the bronze medal in the same event with 451.9 points in the Asian Games 2023.
