E-Commerce – It stands for electronic commerce. That has evolved from electronic shopping. It also involves all the features of business and market processes that allow by the Internet and the World Wide Web technologies. E-Commerce is also the trading of goods and services on the Internet. There are about 2.14 billion people who purchase goods and services online across the world. Presently, a large number of individuals buy goods and services online all over the world. Now, E-commerce allows small and large organizations, and startups for selling products at scale and reach consumers all around the world.

Different types of e-commerce – There are several types of e-commerce are discussed below –

1. Business-to-Business (B2B) – It is the sale of goods or services between organizations through an online sales portal. B2B e-commerce is used in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of a company’s sales efforts. This type of e-commerce includes the electronic transactions or dealings of goods or services that are conducted between organizations.
2. Business–to-Consumer (B2C) – This type of e-commerce is also known as retail e-commerce. It is one of the main e-commerce types or business models which involves sales between businesses to consumers. It is also used in defining a commercial exchange between a business and a consumer. The word ‘business-to-consumer’ was mainly applied in explaining the process of direct marketing goods to consumers that were shopping in malls, taking food in any restaurant, and many more. Business-to-Consumer corresponds to the retail section of e-commerce in which old retail trade normally operates.
3. Consumer–to-Consumer (C2C) – It is that type of e-commerce where one consumer sells his goods or services to other consumers online This type of e-commerce encompasses all electronic transactions of goods or services that are conducted between consumers. In this type of e-commerce, these transactions or dealings are conducted via a third party that offers the online platform where dealings or transactions are actually carried out.
4. Consumer–to-Business (C2B) – It is a type of e-commerce where customers may provide products and services to organizations and organizations pay to consumers. Consumer-to-Business is a complete reversal of the old business model where organizations provide goods and services to consumers. Several individuals make their products or services that are available to buy for companies who are seeking precisely these types of products or services.
5. Business–to-Administration (B2A) – It is also called as business-to-public-sector (B2PS0 or business-to-public-administration (B2PA) that refers to the business sector as a trader and a government as a consumer that plays a significant role in public procurement. This type of e-commerce encompasses all transactions that are conducted between private companies or organizations and public administration.
6. Consumer–to-Administration (C2A) – It is a type of e-commerce that denotes to all e-commerce activities and electronic transactions or dealings  between individuals and the public administration or government.  In this type of e-commerce, these transactions are typically payments for government or public administration costs including social security, health services, or taxes.
