India won the first one-day match by 5 wickets with West Indies

In the first one-day match, India won the match by 5 wickets due to great performance in bowling and fielding. After winning the first one-day match, India leads the series by (1-0) in the three one-day match series against West Indies. Previously, India won the test match series by (1-0) in the two-test series against West Indies.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bowl first thus, West Indies first batted and was all out at only 114/10 in only 23 overs due to great bowling by Kuldeep Yadav 4/6 (3), Ravindra Jadeja 3/37 (6), Shardul Thakur 1/14 (3), Mukesh Kumar 1/22 (5), and Hardik Pandya 1/17 (3). Shai Hope 43 (45), Alick Athanaze 22 (18), and Brandom King 17 (23) were good batting from the West Indies side.

During chasing, India loses 5 wickets, reached the target of 115 runs in only 22.5 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets with West Indies due to good batting by Ishan Kishan 52 (46), Surya Kumar Yadav 19 (25), Ravindra Jadeja 16* (21), and Rohit Sharma 12 *(19). Gudakesh Motie 2/26 (6.5), Jayden Seales 1/21 (4), and Yannic Cariah 1/35 (5) were good bowling from the Indian side.

Kuldeep Yadav (IND), 4/6 (3), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling.
