World Spine Day is celebrated every year on October 16 across the world to spread awareness about spinal health, spinal pain, and spinal-related disability. The main purpose of this global day is to inspire people across the world to undertake measures to improve their spinal health and avoid ailments of the spine.

As per the study, there is about 80 percent of adults will be suffered from a back problem at some point in their life. Presently, spinal pain is one of the common issues worldwide and spinal problems refer to diseases, which affect the spine such as spinal stenosis. The symptoms of spinal pain are numbness, tingling sensations, and lower back pain.
There are several types of spinal conditions, which may cause discomfort and pain and these conditions are aging, injuries, genetics, and accidents. Now, spinal conditions can cause back pain that is one of the most common medical issues worldwide. A spinal condition is an injury or any disease which mostly affects the spine or back. It may cause pain, discomfort, and issues with mobility. The main aim of this international day is to spread awareness about spinal care among common people worldwide. It also aims to spread awareness about the importance of the spinal cord or spinal health.
