Mostly morning rituals that are exercise, yoga, religious performances, are performed in the morning. But sound sleep is equally important for good health. The following nightly rituals performed by successful people are as given below:
- They do some yoga or light stretching. This makes the next morning body pain free.
- They wear comfortable night dress such as cotton pajamas in summer and flannel pajamas in winter.
- They drink warm milk or tart cherry juice.
- Clean teeth and tongue with light brush.
- Ensure the bedroom as dark as possible as the darkness is nature’s sleeping pill.
- Keep the temperature of bedroom most comfortable.
- No Facebook, WhatsApp, or E.mail etc before going to bed. The light from screen is unfavorable because it tells the brain to stop secreting melatonin and signals the brain to stay awake.
- Avoid discussions with anybody.
The above mentioned nightly rituals are regularly performed by successful people and not casually. These rituals have made them successful and great.
