South Korean company, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy J3 (2017) smartphone in the US market. It will be available through online and AT&T retail stores.at a price of $179.99 (approximately Rs 11,500).

The Galaxy J3 (2017) smartphone offers a 5-inch HD with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels display and operates on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos 7 (7570) with 1.5GB of RAM. The device offers a 16GB storage that can be expandable up to 256GB by using microSD card and is back-up by a 2600mAh battery which provide 23 hours of talk time for 17 days of standby time
The smartphone comes with a camera at rear of 5-megapixel and a camera at front of 2-megapixel. The rear camera offers LED flash and full-HD video recording at 30fps whereas the front camera has Gesture Control and Beauty Effect in Selfie mode. The device has several features including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. There are some sensors in the smartphone such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Its dimensions are 140.97×70.1×8.64mm and weighs 148 grams.
