Chinese company, Vivo has introduced the Y25 smartphone in Malaysia at a price of MYR 499 (approximately Rs. 7,500). The company did not give information about the launch of the Y25 smartphone globally.

Y25 smartphone
The Y25 smartphone offers a 4.5-inch FWGA with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and operates on Funtouch Operating System 2.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core MTK6580 processor and a 1GB of RAM. The device offers 16GB storage that can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a camera at rear of 5-megapixel with LED flash and a camera which is placed at front of 2-megapixel use for taking selfies and video chatting. The size of the device is 130.7×66.4×9.2mm and is back up by a 1900mAh battery. It has several features such as 4G connectivity, Micro-USB, Wi –Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. There are various sensors in the smartphone including proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.

Y55 smartphone
Earlier the company has introduced Y55 smartphone in Indian market. It is available at a price of Rs 12,490. The Y55 smartphone offers a 5.2-inch HD with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels IPS display which has a 2.5D curved edge screen. It has a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with 3GB of RAM. It has storage of 16GB that can be expandable up to 256GB by using microSD card. It comes with a camera at rear of 13-megapixel and a camera at front of 5-megapixel. The smartphone operates on FunTouch Operating System which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is back up by a 2730mAh battery.
