Japanese company, Sony has introduced the A99 II camera in Indian market at a cost of Rs 2, 49,990. It is now available from different company’s stores in all over India. The new camera comes with a latest 42.4-megapixel sensor Exmor R full- frame sensor with a gapless-on-chip design for faster readouts of high volume data. It is made up of magnesium alloy and supports dual SD card slots and is protected from dust and moisture.

The A99 II camera offers the 4D Focus system which has 79 autofocus points on the PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and connected with the 399-on-sensor autofocus points which delivers 79 hybrid cross-autofocus points. It has Bionz X photo processor on board the camera allows to non-stop shooting up to 12fps.
According to company, the gyro sensors are able for sensing even minute camera activities that can effect blurring. The camera can record 4K video and supports S-Log2 and S-Log3 shooting modes. It has an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) and a 3-inch tiltable LCD display and is the new in body 5-axis image adjustment system.
