After this inning, Afghanistan set a huge target of 314 runs in 50 overs for Sri Lanka to win this match.
During chasing, Sri Lanka loses 6 wickets, reached the target of 314 runs in 49.4 overs, and won the match by 4 wickets with Afghanistan due to great batting by Charith Asalanka 83* (72), Kusal Mendis 67 (61), Dasun Shanaka 43 (44), Pathum Nissanka 35 (55), Dinesh Chandimal 33 (32), and Dunith Wellalage 31 (21). Both Rashid Khan 4/37 (10), and Mohammad Nabi 2/56 (10) were good bowling from the Afghanistan side.
