India won the match by 65 runs with New Zealand

In the second T20 match, India won the match by 65 runs with New Zealand due to a great century by Suryakumar Yadav 111* (51) and the best bowling by Deepak Hooda 4/10 (2.5). After winning this match, India leads the series by (1-0) in the three T20 matches against New Zealand.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first thus India first batted and made a huge score of 191/6 in 20 overs due to great batting by Suryakumar Yadav 111* (51), and Ishan Kishan 36 (31). Tim Southee 3/34 (4), Lockie Ferguson 2/49 (4), and Ish Sodhi 1/35 (4) were good bowling from the New Zealand side. After this inning, India set a huge target of 192 runs in 20 overs for New Zealand to win this match.

During chasing, New Zealand was all out at only 126 runs in 18.5 overs and lose the match by 65 runs with India due to great bowling by Deepak Hooda 4/10 (2.5), Mohammad Siraj 2/24 (4), Yuzvendra Chahal 2/26 (4), Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/12 (3), and Washington Sundar 1/24 (2). Both Kane Williamson 61 (52), and Devon Conway 25 (22) were good batting from the New Zealand side.

Suryakumar Yadav (IND), 111* (51) was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
