Vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy during one’s school days and I waited for my summer vacations every year when I was young. Most of us all love to go for a vacation especially during the summer season. A holiday trip with friends and relatives gives a rejuvenating feeling to me. I fondly remember when I had gone for a trip with my family and relatives. We decided to go to Nainital in May due to summer holidays in schools and colleges. I remember how excited I was and so were my siblings and cousins.

On that memorable day, I was the first one to finish my packing for the trip. The day we had to start, I was the first one to wake up and then I ensured that everyone else got ready soon so that we could start moving as soon as possible. Every minute seemed so precious. My mother prepared some delicious breakfast and tasty snacks for the journey. I hired a rickshaw for going to the Railway Station. When we reached the railway station, we were early and had to wait for the train. All the relatives especially my cousins were looking forward towards the journey. When the train departed, all of us enjoyed a lot. We sang Bollywood songs, and shared interesting anecdotes and hilarious jokes. The journey by train was an unforgettable one.

When we reached Nainital, all of us were happy and went to the hotel to get some rest.  Next day, we went to Ranikhet by taxi and then, to Kasauni- another hill station. I liked Kasauni very much. In all directions, we could see the mountains. The scenery was very beautiful. It was very pleasant to see the snow-capped mountains in Kasauni. We returned to Nainital, the same day. Next day, we went around the town of Nainital. We saw the market area, parks and went for boating in the serene Naini Lake. We took beautiful pictures of the Naini Lake while we were boating. In the market area, we shopped all day and had tasty snacks and cold drinks in a restaurant. At night, we returned to the hotel and took dinner. Next morning, we had to leave Nainital so we proceeded to the Railway station with a wish to stay there for a longer duration than we actually did.

The vacation was over but my mind was still revisiting the sweet memories of the summer vacation. Even today, I would love to go on this type of a vacation, again.
